If you were to ask me to define my photographic style I would definitely use words like "colorful" and "bright" and "imaginative". A passion for creativity is what makes every new project an exciting artistic challenge to me. And I feel that one of the aspects of photography where this creativity is most important is in Lubbock senior portraits.
Your senior photos are your chance to shine and celebrate not only what you've accomplished but the fantastic journey you are setting out on next. During photo shoots, I like to create a fun, relaxed atmosphere so that everyone feels comfortable. You need to feel the freedom to express yourself. That way the portraits I create for you will be authentic and the smiles and emotion I capture in them will be natural, genuine, and beautiful. And I won't be just using generic angles and poses in your photos. I'll be working to create something truly unique that fits your personality and individual style. My goal is that when you see the results of your photo shoot you smile and say, "That's awesome. That's me!"
Unless you've had your portrait taken many times before or are a photographer yourself, you may not be familiar with the process and also how to create the perfect photos you are hoping for. I know from experience how awkward it can be when a photographer simply says, "Strike a pose. Do what you want. I'll just take the pictures." I don't turn you loose in front of a camera without any help. I feel that communicating with you before the photo shoot is very important. I can work with you to choose the right outfits, props, and location. And during the photo session, we will experiment with angles and poses to find the look that expresses best everything that makes you beautiful and unique.
A couple weeks after the photo shoot, once I've added the finishing touches to the photos, it's time to see them for yourself. I love this moment. It's so exciting to watch your expression as you see the wonderful photography we worked together to create.
